Job Description:
· Plant Performance
a. Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of on-site solar plants
b. Execution of preventive maintenance of the plants as per schedule
c. Ensure optimal performance of solar PV Plants and maximize energy generation
d. Conduct regular inspections to identify any operational issues or potential risks
e. Schedule and supervise routine maintenance activities, including cleaning, panel inspection, and equipment servicing
f. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for site operations
g. Coordinate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, technicians, and internal teams, to ensure smooth operations
h. Coordinate with maintenance teams to promptly address any system failures or malfunctions
i. Keep abreast of technological advancements and industry best practices to enhance system performance
j. Analyse performance data to identify performance gaps, provide reasons for the same in SolarLink and implement corrective actions to improve plant performance to meet the targeted parameters
· Vendor & Team Management
a. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
b. Collaborate with vendors to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, including cleaning, preventive maintenance, repairs and component replacements
c. Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to agreed-upon service levels and quality standards
d. Evaluate vendors regularly based on Monthly performance
e. Collaborate with vendors to resolve any issues or disputes in a timely manner
f. Provide feedback and communicate expectations to vendors for continuous improvement
g. Facilitate training and development programs for team members and O&M vendors
h. Conduct regular Vendor team meetings and performance evaluations
i. RMS training to the Vendors
j. Vendor billing and management
· Commercial Aspects
a. Follow-up with Customers (Plant Capacity < 1MWp) for outstanding amounts and BG
b. Provide accurate inputs for Deemed Generation calculations
c. Timely availability of JMR
· Communication & Feedback
a. To follow-up on regular cleaning feedback and activity compliance on Solar Ladder.
b. Engaging in weekly updates on plant performance as per dashboard requirements
c. Taking regular updates on PM/CM activity
· ESG & Statutory Compliance
a. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and as per 4PEL ESG standards
b. Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments regularly
c. Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures for all on-site personnel
