Job Objective
Good knowledge in Civil and Structural Design and Engineering, can independently do civil design and engineering of ground mount solar power plants & wind power plants. Good understanding of Civil layouts, design, and specifications.
Roles (As stated and not limited to)
- Experience in structural analysis of solar module mounting structure design, material selection and structure optimization. Hands on experience to design the MMS suitable for multiple makes of PV modules with mounting clamps and nut bolt fixing.
- Experience in having the sessions with LIE, off takers / customers to obtain the approval on MMS designs and structure.
- Pile foundation design review and structural analysis. Experience on preparation is add on advantage.
- Designing and review of reinforced concrete slabs, beams, columns, foundations (box, piles), retaining walls, basement walls, precast concrete and other reinforced concrete structures
- Designing steel trusses, steel beams & columns.
- Designing and review of civil and structural drawings of MCR, ICR with canopy, HT Panel, LT Panel, Metering yards, inverter, SCB, Watch tower etc.
- Review of Geotechnical maps, contour, hydrology and aerial photographs to advise on site selection.
- Designing and reviewing plant drain, road and other infrastructure.
- Designing and Review of civil and structures using specialized computer software or calculations.
- Designing and review civil and structural design of Transmission Line and Substation.
- To prepare specifications for foundation and structure.
- Create structural models by using design software.
- Choose appropriate materials based on structural requirements.
- Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
- Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
- Review of all constructional civil and structural drawings and documents.
Qualifications
BE in Civil Engineering.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of work experience in solar EPC companies in solar power plant & substation civil, and structural engineering and design.
Technical Knowledge
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) & good hand hold on ERP.
- Strong Experience in PV specific modelling.
- Strong AutoCAD & MMS design related software skills, able to fully CAD and produce drawings for projects.
- Excellent drafting and presentation skills.
Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Staad Pro, Google Earth, MS Office.
