Position – Corporate Finance

Location – Hyderabad

The candidate will work closely with the Founders in the Corporate Finance team. The candidate will work independently and must be a go-getter who will assume a variety of leadership roles and responsibilities to get things done.

Strong communication and leadership skills will be needed in this position to develop internal teamwork successfully and work with high-value external stakeholders.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·      Fund Raising: Equity, Debt, Mezzanine, Working Capital & Project Finance and corresponding due diligence and supporting activities

·      Manage deal origination, execution and disbursement – including corresponding diligences.

·      Financial analysis and modelling and supporting presentations

·      Conceptualizing, evaluating and executing the immediate (6 – 12 months), near term (1-3 years) and long term (3-7 years) financing strategy for the firm including structured finance, innovative structures to ensure lowest cost of finance.

·      Develop a detailed understanding of Investor Relations function and various roles it plays - esp. the cardinal decisions taken

·      MIS reporting on monthly basis to the Board

·      Monthly reporting to lenders and other stakeholders

·      Monitor and track progress vs. budget and support specific projects related to various functions in the organisation (especially, finance), as needed

·      Identify underlying risks and share with leadership with potential mitigation steps

·      The candidate will spend 75% of their time on the Corporate Finance function and 25% of the time in the Investor Relations function.

Key outcomes expected from the role:

·      Understanding of the business model of the Company along with relevant financial concepts

·      Enable tracking of all key metrics and present the same to key stakeholders (E.g. MIS reports, Cash flow, IRR actualisation)

·      Investor Relations

·      Be the key to connect leadership with the other functions of the organisation

·      Timely identification of key risks and sharing with leadership potential mitigation steps

Experience and skills:

·      0-3 years experience in finance, consulting, etc.

·      Experience of Power/ Renewables industry is good (not mandatory)

·      Understanding of finance and fundamental business concepts

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
