JOB PROFILE :-
PROJECT EXECUTION :
- Prepare a Gantt chart for the project and ensure that project is completed within the given timelines and Budget
meeting the desired Quality Standards.
- Conduct briefing session with SM, engineers and discuss the project in detail. Subsequently, mobilize team at site.
- Ensure necessary permissions are obtained to commence execution.
- Get quotes from I&C vendors and negotiate on the cost and forward to PMO for finalization.
- Verify the BOM submitted by Design, finalize and further submit to Procurement
- Ensure that all members of site team follow required HSE practices and policies.
- Monitoring and ensuring Quality through periodic site visits. Guide SMs and ensure Quality issues are addressed
immediately.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), obtain Permit to Work (PTW), conduct Safety Induction at site. Always ensure
compliance to HSE policies and procedures
INTER DEPARTMENT CO-ORDINATION :
- Coordinate with BD team towards understanding the requirements of the Project and providing regular feedback.
- Study the Design drawings, verify their feasibility by visiting sites and suggesting changes to the Design and follow up towards finalization of the same. Get the Final Drawings approved by client.
- Ensuring Material availability at sites, get dispatch schedule from SCM team; maintaining record of 'Budgeted quantity vs Material supplied vs Material consumed at site.
- In case material is not enough, procure material locally after due approval from Purchase dept.
PROJECT COMPLETION :
- Oversee Testing and Commissioning of the solar plant.
- Solar plant/O&M manual preparation and submission to Client. Maintain copy with HO.
- Make necessary documentation for CEIG, Net Metering ready on time and submit the same
- Coordinate with Govt. agencies: getting CEIG Inspection done, getting Net Metering sanctions on time
- Ensure project is handed over to Client/Asset Management team as the case may be.
- Payment follow up with the Client.
PROJECT REPORTING :
- Ensure regular updates for the Project are provide to the Client and the Project Management Office.
MISCELLANEOUS :
- Keep updated on the developments in the Solar field and Resolve technical issues without escalation.
- Carry out training of Site Mangers, execution team and maintain proper records of the same.
- Ensuring compliance with various administrative instructions issued from time to time regarding conduct/HR policies
- Welfare of the personnel placed under him.
- Responsible for discipline of all the personnel working under him.
Training and Team Motivation
- Training team on the requirements of different states pertaining to quality, safety, technical (I&C/Design procedures) etc.
- Proper documentation of subject covered to be maintained.
- Well versed with industry practices and standards.
Qualifications
- Formal education which corresponds to a completed University Degree (Bachelors/Masters).
- PMP Certified/MBA in Project Management/Operations Management would be looked favourably.
Professional experience
- Relevant professional experience of at least 5-7 years, working in area of project management (Preferably Solar & Wind).
- Exposure in Utility Scale project management would be an add-on.
Technical Knowledge
- Computer literate (MS Projects, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) & good hand hold on ERP.
- Good knowledge of project cycle management.
- Excellent drafting and presentation skills.
Knowledge of languages
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Fluency in other local languages would be treated as an asset.
